Nele Palmtag

Nele Palmtag, born in Böblingen in 1973, trained as an occupational therapist before studying design with a focus on fashion at the HFK Bremen and illustration at the HAW Hamburg. Since 2009, she has worked as a freelance illustrator, creating mainly children’s and picture books based on her own ideas and on texts by other authors. Some of her books have been translated into several languages. One of her books received recognition from Stiftung Buchkunst as one of “Germany’s Most Beautiful Books.”
