Sebastian Meschenmoser

Sebastian Meschenmoser, born in Frankfurt am Main in 1980, is a German author and illustrator of children’s books. He studied fine arts in Mainz. His first picture book, “Fliegen lernen,” was published in 2005. He is known, among other works, for the picture-book series featuring Mr. Squirrel and for “Gordon and Tapir.” Meschenmoser was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize in 2007 and 2015.
