Franziska Harvey

Franziska Harvey (born 1968 in Frankfurt am Main) spent much of her childhood in Buenos Aires. She studied graphic design, specializing in illustration and calligraphy, at the Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences. After working for several advertising agencies, she became a freelance illustrator and illustrated more than one hundred children’s books and picture books. Her work includes “Eine Liebesgeschichte” by Siegfried Lenz, as well as illustrations for Lessing’s “Nathan the Wise” and Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” According to publisher biographies, dance theater and contemporary dance influenced the lively quality of her drawing style.
