Sigune Schnabel

Sigune Schnabel, born in Filderstadt in 1981, studied literary translation in Düsseldorf, where she completed a diploma degree. Her poetry and prose have appeared in numerous anthologies and literary magazines, including Die Rampe, Krautgarten, Wortschau, and mosaik. Her poetry debut, “Apfeltage regnen,” was published in 2017, followed by “Spuren vergessener Zweige” (2019), “Auf Zimmer drei liegt die Sehnsucht” (2021), and “Die Zeit hat ihre Farbe verloren” (2023). Schnabel has received several awards for her poetry, including the Ulrich Grasnick Poetry Prize (2017), the postpoetry Prize (2018), and the Wiener Werkstattpreis (2022). She was also a finalist for the Literarischer März (2017) and the Merano Poetry Prize (2022).
