Elisabeth Wandeler-Deck

Elisabeth Wandeler-Deck, born in 1939 and raised in Zug, published prose, poetry, and essays. Her works include the prose volume “Piraten, Haitianische Topografien” (2004), “Visby infra ordinaire” (2017), and “TAGUMTAGKAIRO” (2019). She also co-authored the film “Die Farbe des Klangs des Bildes der Stadt.” In 1998, she received second prize at Floriana 98, and in 1999 the Sarna Jubilee Prize for “Von einem Schiff zu singen.” She was awarded the Basel Poetry Prize for her complete poetic work in 2013 and a City of Zurich work grant for “Visby infra ordinaire” in 2017.
