Sarah Raich, born in 1979, grew up in rural Lower Saxony and Tyrol. She studied comparative literature in Berlin and subsequently worked for creative agencies and as a journalist. She has published short stories, poetry and novels. Her works include the prose collection “Dieses makellose Blau” (2021) and the young adult novels “All That’s Left” and “Equilon.” “All That’s Left” was nominated in 2022 for the Seraph of the Phantastische Akademie and the Wetzlar Fantasy Prize. Raich attended the Roswitha-Gymnasium in Bad Gandersheim, named after the medieval poet Hrotsvit, whose feminist writings she discovered years later.
