Dominik Geppert

Dominik Geppert (born 1970) studied history and philosophy. After positions at the German Historical Institute London and the universities of Marburg and Bonn, he became Professor of Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century History at the University of Potsdam in 2018. From 2010 to 2018, he held the chair of modern history at the University of Bonn, and in 2016/17 he was Gerda Henkel Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. His research focuses on German and British contemporary history, the history of the press, and international history in the twentieth century.
