Andreas Wirsching

Andreas Wirsching (born 1959) is a historian. He taught modern and contemporary history at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and served as director of the Institute of Contemporary History Munich–Berlin. His publications include “Die Weimarer Republik. Politik und Gesellschaft” (2000), “Abschied vom Provisorium. Geschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, vol. 6, 1982–1990” (2006), and “Weimarer Verhältnisse?” (2018).
