Linus Giese

Linus Giese, born in Bremen in 1986, studied German literature and worked as a bookseller, blogger, and journalist. His writing appeared, among other places, in the Tagesspiegel, the taz, and VICE. In 2020, he published his memoir Ich bin Linus: Wie ich der Mann wurde, der ich schon immer war, about his coming out and life as a trans man. Giese also contributed to anthologies, wrote a foreword, and translated the children’s book Florian, a story about a trans boy. He advocated for the rights of trans people.
