Galili Shahar

Galili Shahar (born 1970) is an Israeli literary scholar. After academic positions at Freie Universität Berlin, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the University of Florida, he became Professor of Comparative Literature at Tel Aviv University in 2011. In 2013, he also assumed the directorship of the Minerva Institute for German History. His scholarly fields include German and Hebrew literature.
