Tobias Singelnstein

Tobias Singelnstein is a legal scholar and criminologist. He has held professorships at Ruhr University Bochum and Goethe University Frankfurt. His academic work focuses on criminology, criminal law and criminal procedure, particularly social control, policing, the justice system and security research. Singelnstein led the study “Bodily Injury in Office by Police Officers” and served as co-editor of the journals Neue Kriminalpolitik and Kriminologisches Journal. In 2020, he was elected to the German Research Foundation’s review board for the field of criminology.
