Thomas Ammann

Thomas Ammann (born 1956) initially trained as an automotive mechanic and studied documentary film. From 1993 to 2008, he worked for “Spiegel TV,” most recently as editor-in-chief of “Spiegel TV Digital.” He subsequently worked as an author of television documentaries and nonfiction books and as a producer for Agenda Media GmbH. From 2014 until the end of 2018, Ammann was deputy editor-in-chief of the magazine “Stern.” He also co-founded a start-up focused on software and digital content.
