Sven Hensel

Sven Hensel is a German slam poet, event organiser and host. From 2014 onward, he performed at numerous spoken-word events in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium. In 2015, he won the U20 North Rhine-Westphalia Poetry Slam championship; he also reached, among other distinctions, the final of the North Rhine-Westphalia Slam and the final of the German-language U20 championships. In 2017, he reached the final of the German-language championships with the slam team Parkpunk. That year, Lektora published his collection of texts, “Aufhause – von Zugvögeln und Fernverkehrern”; he also co-edited the anthology “Tintenfrische III” for the same publisher.
