Jean-Philippe Kindler (born 1996 in Duisburg) is a satirist, slam poet, moderator and author. In 2017, he won the North Rhine-Westphalia Poetry Slam championship and reached the final of the German-language championships at his first attempt; in 2018, he won the German-language title. His stage programs have received awards including the Prix Pantheon and the German Cabaret Award. Before pursuing this career, Kindler worked as a radio presenter. In 2017, he was named “Newcomer of the Year” by the poetry slam community. His publications include the book »Ein Stück Quiche in Krefeld-Fischeln« (2018).
