Stefanie-Lahya Aukongo

Stefanie-Lahya Aukongo, also known as Lahya, is a Black, intersectional artist and author. She also works as a poet, curator, photographer, activist, workshop facilitator and singer. In 2009, she published her autobiography, “Kalungas Kind.” Her artistic and political work addresses themes including decolonization, trauma, self-love, healing, privilege and identity.
