Ljiljana Radonic is an Austrian political scientist and cultural studies scholar. She received her doctorate for a study of Croatian politics of the past between revisionism and European standards; the resulting book, »Krieg um die Erinnerung«, was published in 2010 and received the Michael Mitterauer Prize for social, cultural and economic history. Her habilitation examined representations of the Second World War in post-socialist memorial museums. Radonic has taught at the University of Vienna and was a visiting professor at the University of Giessen and at the Centre for Jewish Studies at the University of Graz. She has held APART and Elise Richter fellowships and is a member of the Young Academy of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
