Kai Biermann

Kai Biermann (born 1972) is a German journalist and author. In 1997, he received a diploma in psychology from Humboldt University of Berlin. After working as a freelance contributor, including for the magazine »Brigitte«, he completed a traineeship at »Berliner Zeitung«. He subsequently worked in the politics department of »Financial Times Deutschland«, as a reporter and political editor at »Netzeitung«, and as a contributor to various newspapers, including »Das Magazin« and »taz«. From 2007, Biermann worked as an editor and department head at ZEIT ONLINE, later joining its investigative and data team. In 2010, he co-founded the Neusprech blog with Martin Haase, focusing on linguistic manipulation in politics and business.
