Thomas Wiegold (born 1960) was a correspondent for the news magazine Focus in its Berlin capital bureau from 1999 to 2010. He subsequently worked as a freelance journalist specializing in defense and security policy and served as an editor of the blog “Augen geradeaus!”. His journalistic work has received numerous awards.
