Eckhard Frick SJ (born 1955) studied medicine, philosophy and theology. He is a specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, as well as a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. A member of the Jesuit order, Frick has worked as a professor of anthropological psychology and of spiritual care and psychosomatic health. He has also worked as a lecturer and psychotherapist. Frick served in the editorial leadership of the journal *Spiritual Care* and was involved with the International Society for Health and Spirituality.
