Daniel Kojo Schrade worked as a visual artist. From 1993 to 1999, he was an assistant in free painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. He subsequently taught as a lecturer and visiting professor at the College of Art of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. He also undertook a working stay in Mexico. His work was shown in numerous national and international group and solo exhibitions, including in Croatia, Italy, Ghana, and the United States.
