From 1998 onward, Cordula Stratmann became known in Germany as a comedian, actress, and author. She gained broad recognition through her character Annemie Hülchrath and her appearances in the improvisational television show “Schillerstraße.” Her other television work included “Das weiß doch jedes Kind,” the ARD film “Ein Fall für Fingerhut,” and the improvisational sitcom “Wir müssen reden.” As an author, she published books including “Ich schreibe, aber lesen müssen Sie selbst” and “Sie da oben, er da unten.” Her work received, among other honors, the German Television Award, the German Comedy Award, the Golden Camera, and the Bavarian Television Award.
