Andreas Voßkuhle, born in 1963, is a German legal scholar. After earning his doctorate in 1992 and completing his habilitation in 1998, he became professor of public law at the University of Freiburg and director of its Institute of Political Science and Philosophy of Law. From 2008 to 2020, he served as a judge of the Federal Constitutional Court, serving as its vice president from 2008 to 2010 and as president from 2010 to 2020.
