Veera Salmi

Veera Salmi (born 1976) is an author of children’s books. Her contemporary urban stories focus on children’s experiences and imagination. She received the Kaarina Helakisa Award in 2014, and one of her children’s novels was nominated for the Finlandia Junior in 2015. Her books have been adapted for film, television, theatre and radio, and translated into Danish, Estonian, Korean and Swedish.
