Uli Hannemann (born 1965 in Braunschweig) is a German author. After trying several courses of study, he worked, among other jobs, as a reprographer and taxi driver. He published his first texts in 1998 in the Berlin literary magazine “Salbader.” From 2000 onward, he was a member of the Berlin literary stage “LSD – Liebe statt Drogen”; from 2004 to 2015, he also performed with “Reformbühne Heim & Welt.” Hannemann has published the story collections “Hähnchen leider,” “Neulich in Neukölln,” “Neukölln, mon Amour,” “Neulich im Taxi,” and “Wenn der Kuchen schweigt, sprechen die Krümel,” as well as the novel “Hipster wird’s nicht.” He also wrote columns and commentaries for the newspaper “taz.”
