Thomas Gsella

Thomas Gsella (born 1958) is a German author known primarily for satirical and comic poetry and prose. From 1992 to 2005, he worked as an editor for the Frankfurt-based satirical magazine Titanic and served as its editor-in-chief from 2005 to 2008. His writing has appeared in newspapers, magazines, and on radio. Gsella has published around thirty volumes of poetry and prose. He received the Robert Gernhardt Prize in 2011. He also performed with Oliver Maria Schmitt and Martin Sonneborn as the “Titanic Boy Group.”
