Theresa Hahl, born in 1989 in Heidelberg, is an author and spoken-word artist. From 2009 onward, she took part in poetry slam competitions in the German-speaking world and reached the finals of the German-language championships in 2011; that year she also became Hessenslam champion and was runner-up in 2012. She received the Weiden Literature Prize in 2010. Hahl was featured in the documentary film “Dichter und Kämpfer,” which premiered at the Berlinale in 2012, and contributed to the multimedia spoken-word theatre production “Alles ist Wunderland.” Together with Temye Tesfu, she wrote and produced the stage radio play “Die Tonbänder des Ignaz Euling.” Her texts have appeared, among others, with Reclam and Lektora.
