Tash Aw

Tash Aw was born in Taiwan in 1971 to Malaysian parents and grew up in Kuala Lumpur. He studied law in the United Kingdom and has published several novels. His literary work has received, among other honors, the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize and the Whitbread First Novel Award. His books have been translated into 23 languages.
