Tal Ilan

Tal Ilan (born 1956) received her PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1991 with a dissertation on Jewish women in Greco-Roman Palestine. From 2003 to 2022, she was Professor of Jewish Studies at Freie Universität Berlin. She retired in 2022.
