Tabea Steiner

Born in 1981, Tabea Steiner grew up on a farm near Lake Constance and studied German and history. In 2011, she took part in the author’s workshop at the Literary Colloquium Berlin, and in 2019 she received an LCB fellowship. Her debut novel, “Balg,” was published in 2019 and nominated for the Swiss Book Prize; “Immer zwei und zwei” followed in 2023. Steiner initiated the Literaare literary festival in Thun, helped organize the Aprillen literary festival in Bern, and served on the jury for the Swiss Literature Prizes until 2022.
