Sue Lynn Tan was born in Malaysia and studied in London and France. Her fantasy novels are inspired by the legends that fascinated her as a child. Her debut novel, Daughter of the Moon Goddess, draws on the Chinese legend of Chang’e, who fled to the moon after drinking an elixir of immortality. Tan’s books have been translated into 18 languages and received multiple awards; they have also appeared on the bestseller lists of The New York Times, USA Today, and The Sunday Times.
