Stephen Holmes

Stephen Holmes (born 1948) has written several books and taught law at NYU School of Law, having previously taught, among other places, at Harvard. His research has focused on the history of liberalism and the disappointments arising from the democratization of communist regimes. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship for his work.
