Stefan Cernohuby was born in Vienna in 1982 and holds a master’s degree in electronics from Technikum Wien. Before becoming an author, he worked, among other jobs, as a postal carrier, in inland shipping, for a Munich automobile manufacturer and for an online gaming company. Since 2010, he has edited several anthologies and published short stories, serial novels and novels; his first novel appeared in 2020. In 2013, he received the Encouragement Award from the European Science Fiction Society. Two of his anthologies were shortlisted for the German Phantastik Prize.
