Kai Meyer

Kai Meyer (born 1969) is a German author of fantasy and speculative fiction. He studied film and theatre, worked as a journalist and editor, and turned to writing books full-time in 1995. His best-known works include The Alchemist, the Merle trilogy, The Wave Walkers, The Cloud People and The Pages of the World. His books have been translated into numerous languages and adapted in several formats. In 2005, he received the CORINE Literature Prize for Frostfeuer.
