Sebastian Grote

Sebastian Grote studied history and Scandinavian studies at the universities of Cologne, Helsinki and Uppsala. After completing a traineeship in the press and communications department of the University of Cologne, he worked in science communication at the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research. He took part in expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic and reported from aboard the research vessel Polarstern during the launch phase of the MOSAiC expedition.
