Sabine Rennefanz (born 1974 in Beeskow) is a German journalist and author. She was a long-standing editor at Berliner Zeitung and worked, among other outlets, for Der Spiegel, Tagesspiegel and Radio 1. Her reportage and essays earned her the Theodor Wolff Prize and the German Reporter Award. In 2013, she published the bestseller “Eisenkinder. Die stille Wut der Wendegeneration” (“Children of Iron: The Silent Anger of the Reunification Generation”). Her other books include “Die Mutter meiner Mutter” (2015), “Mutter to go. Zwischen Baby und Beruf” (2019) and “Frauen und Kinder zuletzt. Wie Krisen gesellschaftliche Gerechtigkeit herausfordern” (2022).
