Sabine Eichhorst

Sabine Eichhorst studied German and sociology and worked for many years as a journalist for various ARD radio programs. Her reporting earned her the CIVIS Media Prize in 2002 and the Herbert Quandt Media Prize in 2011. From 1993 onward, she published books alongside her journalistic work, including the SPIEGEL bestseller “Ein Tagwerk Leben – Erinnerungen einer Magd.” Her other works include the nonfiction books “Der Himmel so weit” and “Der Mann im Wald,” the novel “Die Liebe meines Vaters,” and the SPIEGEL number-one bestseller “Sonnenseite.” “Die Liebe meines Vaters” was her debut novel.
