Rudolph E. Tanzi is an American neurologist and author. He was a professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and held senior positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, including director of its research division for genetics and aging. With colleagues, he discovered three genes associated with familial early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Based on this research, he developed new approaches to treatment and prevention. Tanzi is also known as a New York Times bestselling author.
