Ror Wolf

Ror Wolf (1932–2020) was born in Saalfeld, Thuringia, and died in Mainz. His work received numerous awards, including the Hörspielpreis der Kriegsblinden (1988), the Bremen Literature Prize (1992), the Heimito von Doderer Prize (1996), the State Prize of Rhineland-Palatinate (1997), the Friedrich Hölderlin Prize (2008), the Günter Eich Prize (2015), the Schiller Memorial Prize (2016), and the Rainer Malkowski Prize (2018).
