Remo H. Largo

Remo H. Largo (1943–2020) studied medicine at the University of Zurich and developmental pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles. From 1978, he headed the Department of Growth and Development at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich. There, he was responsible for the Zurich Longitudinal Studies, an extensive research program on human development. Largo published numerous scientific works as well as popular books, including *Babyjahre*, *Schülerjahre*, and *Jugendjahre*, which became well-known works of parenting literature.
