Raul Zelik, born in Munich in 1968, is a writer and political scientist. From 1996 onward, he worked as a freelance writer. From 2009 to 2013, he taught international and comparative politics at the National University of Colombia in Medellín. His publications include work on social conflicts in Latin America and political perspectives beyond capitalism. His honors include the Walter Serner Prize and other literary awards.
