Ingar Solty (born 1979) is a social scientist and scholar of literature. As a research adviser at the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation’s Center for Social Analysis and Political Education, he worked on foreign, peace and security policy. He has written and edited numerous books on political economy, political theory and intellectual history, as well as literature and culture. His publications include “Die USA unter Obama” (2013), “Richtige Literatur im Falschen” (2016), “Literatur in der neuen Klassengesellschaft” (2020), “Auf den Schultern von Karl Marx” (2020) and “Der postliberale Kapitalismus” (2025). He has also published in academic journals and newspapers and served as an expert before committees of the German Bundestag.
