Rainer Simader

Rainer Simader is a physiotherapist as well as a dance and expressive arts therapist. He began working in palliative care in 1997, providing care both in patients’ homes and at St Christopher’s Hospice in London. From 2019, he headed the education department of Hospiz Österreich, the umbrella organization of Austrian hospice and palliative care institutions. He has also worked as a seminar and workshop leader, moderator and lecturer, and served on the board of the Austrian Palliative Care Society.
