Oliver Grajewski

Oliver Grajewski, born in Leverkusen in 1968, studied fine art at the Berlin University of the Arts in Professor Dieter Appelt’s master class and at the Chelsea School of Art and Design in London. As a visual artist, he works conceptually with the medium of comics. From 1999 onward, five volumes of his autobiographical comic series »Tigerboy« were published. His works include the graphic novels »Der Tag im Moor« (2014), »Abend im Abendland« (2015) and »Ein Jahr im Moor«. In 2009, he published »tokio, rückwärtstagebuch« in collaboration with Kathrin Röggla. For »Ein Jahr im Moor«, he received a working grant from the Berlin Senate in 2017 and was a finalist for the Berthold Leibinger Foundation’s Comic Book Prize in 2019.
