Jakob Hinrichs

Jakob Hinrichs (born 1977) is a comic artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. He studied illustration at Berlin University of the Arts. His drawings have appeared in international newspapers and magazines, including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and The Guardian. His graphic novels include Traumnovelle, an adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler’s novella, and Hans Fallada – Der Trinker. Both works have been translated into several languages, and Der Trinker received the Schönste Deutsche Bücher award. Hinrichs also published Ick hau Dir uff’n Kopp bis de Läuse piepen.
