Nicole Falkenhayner

Nicole Falkenhayner, born in 1976, holds a PhD in literary studies. She taught English Literature and Culture at the University of Freiburg and was an alumna of the Cluster of Excellence “Cultural Foundations of Social Integration” at the University of Konstanz. Her publications include work on the representation of British Muslims and on the entanglements of media, structures of feeling, and surveillance. Her scholarly interests have also included heroes and heroization in popular culture.
