Milena Agus

Milena Agus was born in Genoa in 1959 to Sardinian parents. She worked as a teacher of Italian and history at a vocational school and is known as a novelist. Her novel *The Woman in the Moon* (2007) was adapted into a film in 2016 starring Marion Cotillard and achieved international success. Her other novels include *The Wings of My Father*, *The Countess of the Air*, and *The World Upside Down*.
