Michael Wildt

Michael Wildt (born 1954) is a German historian. He was a professor of twentieth-century German history, with a focus on National Socialism, at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he taught until 2022. His best-known works include the study *Generation des Unbedingten: Das Führungskorps des Reichssicherheitshauptamtes* (2002). His other publications include *Ambivalenz des Volkes: Der Nationalsozialismus als Gesellschaftsgeschichte* (2019) and *Zerborstene Zeit: Deutsche Geschichte 1918 bis 1945* (2022).
