Melanie Bottke

Melanie Bottke, born in Schwerin in 1986, is a copywriter and former bookseller. As an author, she has published novels, crime fiction, poetry, and short and audio texts. Her debut novel, »Auf leeren Seiten«, was published by a small press in Bremen in 2019. In 2020, her short thriller »Das Blind Date« appeared in the charity anthology »Identität 1142«, edited by Sebastian Fitzek. Her near-future crime novel »SELVE – Zerrissene Leben« followed in 2022. Bottke also served as head writer for the second season of the audio project »Die schwarze Stadt«.
