Mathias Berg was born in 1971. After studying sociology in Bamberg and London, he worked as a radio presenter, copywriter, public relations editor and marketing editor. He has been writing since the age of 14. Berg is the author of the cold-case series featuring psychologist Lupe Svensson and LKA investigator Otto Hagedorn, which includes The Price of Revenge and The Wages of Betrayal.
