Mark Wilson (PhD) is a visual artist who works in a collaborative art partnership with Bryndís Snæbjörnsdóttir. His interdisciplinary, research-based practice addresses history, culture and the environment in relation to humans and non-human species, including ecology, extinction and conservation. His career includes a professorship in Fine Art at the Institute of the Arts, University of Cumbria, UK. The partnership’s work has been exhibited throughout the United Kingdom and internationally and discussed in publications across a range of disciplines.
